Shericka Williams is a Jamaican sprinter who specializes in the 400 meter race. She was born on September 17, 1985, in Kingston, Jamaica. Williams gained international recognition in 2009 when she won the bronze medal in the 400m race at the World Championships in Berlin, Germany.
Williams went on to win gold medals in the 400m at both the 2011 and 2015 Pan American Games. She has also competed at the Olympics, representing Jamaica in the 400m in 2008, 2012, and 2016.
In 2021, Williams announced her retirement from athletics after a career filled with accolades and achievements. She is regarded as one of Jamaica's most successful female sprinters of all time and will be remembered for her dominance in the 400m race.
